Overview
- To plan, receive and monitoring daily incoming materials (additives & packaging) steady uninterrupted supply of materials to support production schedules.
- Ensure inventory & flow of materials (Additives & Packaging) sufficient supply to meet productions & operations needs while minimizing cost
- Develop & maintain material requirement plans (MRP) based on production schedule & forecast.
- Monitor inventory level & for reordering & generate purchase requisition to maintain optimal stock levels
- Work closely with Production team to align material availability with production schedule
- Coordinate with procurement & warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and storage materials.
- Maintain accurate records of material planning, usage & procurement data
- To organize monthly and annual Stock Take and perform reconcilation
- Data key in to SAP systems - GMR, MR. MRR & MRS
- Assist in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements
- Any other job assigned by management
- Min Diploma and above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related filed.
- At least 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, store management (preferable experience in manufacturing or production planning environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or just in-time (JIT) principles.
