We are seeking an experienced Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) to oversee the safe and efficient operation of a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) unit. The OIM will be the highest authority onboard, responsible for the overall safety, integrity, and performance of all operations and personnel. This position ensures full compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and safety leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the person-in-charge of the FSO, with ultimate accountability for personnel safety, asset integrity, and environmental protection.
  • Manage and supervise all FSO operations including storage, offloading, cargo handling, marine systems, and maintenance activities.
  • Lead the offshore management team, ensuring effective coordination between marine, maintenance, and HSE departments.
  • Ensure compliance with flag state, class, and company safety management systems (ISM Code, MARPOL, SOLAS, ISPS, etc.).
  • Oversee the implementation of the Permit to Work (PTW) system and ensure safe work practices.
  • Coordinate with onshore support teams, clients, and regulatory authorities on operational and reporting matters.
  • Lead emergency response and crisis management efforts, ensuring preparedness and conducting regular drills.
  • Manage FSO crew competency, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and control operational budgets, maintenance schedules, and supply logistics.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in offshore operations.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Deck or Engine) or Degree in Marine / Offshore Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Valid OIM Certificate of Competency recognized by the flag state or regulatory authority.
  • Minimum 1015 years of experience in offshore marine operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role on FSO/FPSO/Offshore production facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of marine systems, cargo operations, HSE management systems, and emergency response procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
