Operations & Management Internship Placement

Professional proactive graduate who is passionate to learn and develop within the role in a high-tech engineering company with origin from Sweden.

In this position you will learn various functionality (both technical and physics – electrical & mechanical components), including process efficiency, optimize the productivity, secure quality product, ensure on-time deliveries and measures to be compliant to EHS policies.

• Collaborate with multi functions / departments to assist
• Learn industrial terminology related to certain tasks
• The real industrial environment where it requires interpersonal skills
• Ensure work logs are maintained and updated regularly
• Compliance with instructions and organizational practices at work
• Taking quality requirements into account at work
• Taking care of occupational safety and general cleanliness
• Able to read & understand mechanical & electrical terminology, drawings, and hydraulic diagram
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawing and experience in panel and circuit wiring
• Familiar with and able to use selected mechanical & electrical assembly tools
• Ensure Sandvik Way of Working procedures are in place and always adhered to
• Meticulous to quality requirement and EHS procedures
  
  

This role would be ideal for someone looking for a new challenge and further become an expert in the heavy industrial machinery assembly area. As a person, you have excellent communication and customer service skills, able to follow instructions and deliver as required, able to work in a team as well independently with minimum supervision, fluently speaking English and Bahasa Melayu with certificate from University / College or technical & vocational institutions.
