You will be responsible for evaluating, designing, configuring, and integrating monitoring solutions, specifically SolarWinds, xMatters, and Commvault into the client's IT environment. This role demands a strong technical background in IT infrastructure monitoring, as well as the ability to tailor these tools to optimize operational efficiency and align with the client's strategic goals. You will work closely with clients to ensure that their monitoring infrastructure is robust, responsive, and integrated with their existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture:


  • Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive monitoring solutions, focusing on event management, event correlation, and alert aggregation.
  • Develop and document architectural frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and IT strategies.


  • Assessment and Analysis:


  • Perform a detailed assessment of the client's existing IT infrastructure and monitoring needs, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate the current monitoring tools (SolarWinds, xMatters, and Commvault) in place.
  • Provide recommendations on the most appropriate configurations based on the client's specific requirements and IT environment.


  • Configuration and Customization:


  • Configure SolarWinds for network performance monitoring, ensuring accurate and comprehensive coverage of the client's infrastructure.
  • Integration and Deployment:
  • Integrate SolarWinds, xMatters, and Commvault with existing ticketing system (ServiceNow), including testing, and validation to confirm that they meet the client's operational requirements.


  • Optimization and Continuous Improvement:


  • Review the performance of the integrated monitoring solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization and refinement.
  • o Implement best practices for monitoring and incident management.


  • Training and Support:


  • Develop training materials to ensure that the client's IT staff are proficient in using the newly integrated monitoring tools.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to address any issues that arise post-deployment, ensuring that the tools continue to operate effectively.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Create detailed documentation for all configured and integrated systems, including configuration settings, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on the performance and impact of the monitoring tools, providing insights and recommendations.
