Pastry Chef

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 2 year of working experience in the Puff Pastry/Bakery Kitchen.
• Training will be provided.
• Expertise in layer puff pastry, cookies, pound cake experience.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.

Job Description:

• Design and develop a variety of desserts and pastries items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and ensuring diverse offerings.
• Supervise daily operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining high standards.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of all pastry items, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
• Ensure that all pastry products are made according to established recipes and standards.
• Train, mentor, and manage the pastry team, ensuring all members are skilled in baking, decorating, and plating.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure timely and high-quality output.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Ensure that all kitchen and food safety standards are met, including cleanliness, food storage, and handling.
• Proven track record of creating innovative and high-quality desserts.
• Language preference in Bahasa Melayu, English or Chinese.
• Male Chef are preferred.
