The Payroll Specialist will support payroll validations across APAC and HROPS linked activities for GE Vernova. This role requires emphasis on data integrity. Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvement. Promote “Best in Class” service while developing effective relationships and working cross functionally with internal teams and external team members
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth closure of monthly payroll by :
- Performing validation of payroll inputs
- Validation payroll results received from payroll vendor starting from headcount to input and output validation, variance analysis and statutory validations.
- Working with payroll vendor to rectify errors identified if any during validation.
- Ensuring timely finalization of payroll
- Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of salary payment to employee by performing end to end validation of payroll
- Validate all statutory reports every month and ensure accurate and timely completion of statutory payment and filing.
- Track and maintain the country’s monthly statutory / regulatory submissions along with payroll vendor in timely manner to avoid any penalty for the organization.
- Additionally support HR Operations related activities as and when required ci:
- Will be responsible to ensure that monthly payroll input validation to avoid any misses – audits on HC, exits, hires and any monthly inputs submitted by HR Ops team member.
- Work cross functionally with internal teams, suppliers, external teams and become a contributing member of the team.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Graduate / Postgraduate / Diploma holder in Human Resource or relevant Industry Regulations certification.
- In-depth knowledge of APAC Payroll processes (preferably North Asian countries)
- Candidate must have knowledge of Mandarin and/or Japanese
- Should have 5+ Years of experience in Payroll management & HR Operations and relevant industry knowledge.
- Should have a sound knowledge about the service behaviours and have a strong control on how to support the GE Vernova in it’s implementation and making it a great organization for Self Service.

- Country Regulatory / Statutory / Payroll Knowledge for APAC region (preferably North Asian countries)
- Team Player with eye for details
- Willing to take up new responsibilities and challenge himself / herself.
- Consistently works with the leaders on country updates.
