Job Overview
As a POP Claims Auditor within the Client Computing Division and Data Center & AI Division partner marketing ecosystem, you will be responsible for independently reviewing and validating partner-submitted Proof-of-Performance (POP) claims for co-marketing activities and Partner Marketing Budgets.
Your primary focus is to ensure full compliance with global guidelines on Proof of Attribution, Proof of Cost, and Proof of Execution while delivering clear, constructive feedback to partners and internal marketing teams. This role combines rigorous audit discipline with partner-facing communication to maintain trust and program integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of partner-submitted campaign documents and Proof-of-Performance materials (invoices, creative assets, activity reports, screenshots, etc.).
- Validate compliance across the three core pillars:
– Proof of Attribution (correct branding and messaging)
– Proof of Cost (valid, accurate, and allowable expenses)
– Proof of Execution (evidence that the marketing activity was fully executed as approved) - Identify discrepancies, policy violations, incomplete submissions, or potential fraud indicators and take appropriate action (reject, request clarification, or escalate).
- Engage directly with regional marketing teams and partners (via meetings, email, or portal comments) to discuss complex or unusual cases and provide clear guidance for resolution.
- Deliver detailed, professional evaluation feedback and coaching to partners on how to improve future claim submissions.
- Prepare and submit accurate, comprehensive weekly POP audit reports to program owners, finance, and leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Finance and Global Marketing teams to resolve disputed claims and ensure timely reimbursement where criteria are met.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of audit checklists, templates, and processes to increase efficiency and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in fund management, marketing operations, or financial processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SAP, or other financial management systems.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and financial compliance regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Marketing Funds programs and processes.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a corporate environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
