  • Provide timely and effective remote post sales technical support, solving technical problems of varied scope and complexity.
  • Effectively work and communicate with worldwide support and the engineering teams - the application engineer is the technical interface between the customer and Keysight product developers.
  • Accurately log, track and maintain customer service requests.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction and support metric goals and SLAs.
  • Share expertise through the creation of technical article content.
  • Leverage post-sales interactions with customers, to investigate more broadly and provide highly qualified opportunities to sales.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential due to the need to support the Greater China business.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, or equivalent in electronics, electrical engineering or communications engineering.
  • Between 1-3 years relevant customer support experience.
  • Clear written and verbal communications; able to explain technical concepts and subjects over the phone and through email.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise and work well under pressure.
  • Must work well in a team environment and be self-motivated. 
  • Strong analytical skills to analyse and solve technical problems.
  • Ability to effectively interface with customers; experience in technical sales and/or customer service skills.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the generation, demodulation and analysis of digital communication signals.
  • Understanding of RF/MW fundamentals with practical experience using RF/MW test equipment.
  • Programming skills that may include .NET, C#, C++, VB, Python.
