Your Role
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be a critical technical voice in our growth story. You'll be the go-to technical expert for our prospective clients, working hand-in-hand with our sales team to craft and showcase the value of our Card Issuance and Payments platforms. This is a highly strategic role where you'll not only win new business but also scale your expertise across the sales organization by creating powerful enablement materials and training.

Your Role
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be a critical technical voice in our growth story. You'll be the go-to technical expert for our prospective clients, working hand-in-hand with our sales team to craft and showcase the value of our Card Issuance and Payments platforms. This is a highly strategic role where you'll not only win new business but also scale your expertise across the sales organization by creating powerful enablement materials and training.
What You'll Do
- Be a Product Evangelist: Master the technical intricacies of Reap's products and solutions, and deliver compelling, customized demonstrations that bring their value to life for prospective clients.
- Solve Customer Challenges: Collaborate closely with the sales team to lead technical discovery sessions, deeply understand a client's business needs, and design tailored solutions that address their specific pain points.
- Drive Technical Wins: Own the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from initial conversations and solution design to managing Proof of Concepts (POCs) that prove the value and viability of our platforms.
- Bridge the Gap: Act as the key technical liaison between our prospective clients and internal teams, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation and providing valuable market feedback to our product and engineering teams.
- Build Strong Relationships: Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building confidence in Reap's ability to meet their current and future needs.
- Empower the Team: Create and maintain technical sales collateral, and train the sales team on new product features and the competitive landscape.
- Experience: 2+ years in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, or a similar client-facing technical role, ideally within a FinTech, Payments, or SaaS company.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the cards and payments ecosystem (card issuance, payment processing, etc.) is highly desirable. A foundational understanding of cryptocurrency is required; experience with Web3 concepts is a plus.
- Technical Acumen: You are comfortable discussing technical concepts, have a grasp of how APIs work, and can quickly learn new technologies.
- Exceptional Communicator: You can translate complex technical ideas into clear, concise language for diverse audiences and are a confident and engaging presenter.
- Problem-Solver: You are naturally curious, a critical thinker, and enjoy digging into complex challenges to find the best solution.
- Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in a team environment and have a proven ability to work effectively with sales, product, and engineering teams.
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not required if you have equivalent experience.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages, such as Mandarin, Spanish, or Portugese, is a strong asset.
