Solutions Architect
The Role:
The Solutions Architect is responsible for supporting the 11:11 Systems Channel and Sales team in acquiring new business through the Channel community and growing accounts in an assigned region. Support will include design and pricing of customer application solutions, assisting in customer presentations, discovery and definition of customer requirements, approving all contracted sales from an application and engineering standpoint, and interfacing with operations personnel to ensure a smooth hand-off of all sales orders.

The Role:

Responsibilities:
- Support a group of existing channel partners in region
- Actively support the regional channel team in partner recruitment, on-boarding and enablement
- Design customer solutions by using a consultative selling approach to identify client business issues, determine desired outcomes, and architect a solution that utilizes all our products and services
- Ensure accurate pricing and configuration of complex sales proposals
- Ensure that your assigned partners work to maximise quota attainment
- Ensure complete discovery and definition of customer application requirements
- Architect services to meet customer requirements by providing high-level architectural diagrams, detailed statements of work, and high-level project plans for complex multi-stage deployments
- Develop and provide ongoing training and mentoring to the channel partners
- Develop sales content for use by the rest of the organisation such as presentation templates, demonstration videos, and technical white papers
- Assist Product Management & Marketing to develop new product and service definitions
- Research and recommend services and pricing improvements to our current products and services
- Coordinate additional support as necessary for sales opportunities
- Promote the professional growth of the team, continually pursuing opportunities for personal career/training development
- Continually seek industry and market information to provide 11:11 Systems with the information necessary for successful business development
- Represent 11:11 Systems at public events such as trade shows and webinars
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements
- Additional duties as assigned
- Must physically reside in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
- Bachelor’s or other University degree required
- 7+ years of experience in Information Technology/Sales Engineering roles
- Experience in the design of IP network solutions
- Experience in three or more of the following technologies: Storage, Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery, Networking, Security, Server Operating Systems, Load Balancing, VMware, AWS
- Strong customer interfacing skills, being able to translate business requirements to technical functionality of 11:11 Systems solution set
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially presentation skills, to a large audience or in one-on-one meetings (planned and ad-hoc)
- Self-motivated and flexible
- Proven track record of establishing and solidifying strategic relationships with key customers and partners, while representing suites of complex IT or IT services solutions
- Strategic solution selling or previous sales engineering experience
- Demonstrates passion, enthusiasm, and self-confidence that translates well to customers, partners, and colleagues with an investigative mind
- Up to 50% travel required, as needed
- Must be legally eligible to work in hired country without visa sponsorship
