Position Title: Process Engineer

Snapshot Of The Role

We are looking for a Process Engineer to assist in implementation of Process Improvement projects, planning of Central Kitchen Expansion project, support, and coordination of Japan FamilyMart Support Activities.

You Are Driven To

• Process Optimization and Analysis
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct time studies, process mapping, and workflow analysis to minimize waste and streamline operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives
• Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process improvements and monitor success.
• Develop and execute action plans to address production bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
• Quality and Compliance
• Ensure processes comply with food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO certifications.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to uphold product quality and safety requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations or quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Project Management
• Manage and execute improvement projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and cost-benefit analyses to management.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source equipment or materials needed for process improvements.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing
• Train staff on new processes, tools, and techniques to ensure smooth implementation.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving among team members.
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or General Engineering or related field is preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years’ related experiences, it is good if candidate is from Food Industry
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective communication skills & problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Intermediate level (pivot, macro, power query and other analysis tool)
• Knowledge in Power BI and Fluent in Japanese Language are added advantage.
• Candidate must be willing to be based at Shah Alam.
