Procurement Officer

Position Overview: The Procurement Officer will manage the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management processes to ensure the company acquires quality goods and services efficiently and at competitive prices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and quality.
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality and delivery standards.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure the timely ordering of supplies.
• Review and analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement or a related role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management practices.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
