Job Title: Product Development Executive (Pastry Expert)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Product Development Executive with a specialization in pastry to develop fillings, glazes and sauces for bakery applications. This role will also contribute to broader R&D projects and manage customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry production, basic cooking skills and the ability to collaborate with customers to provide tailored product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and optimization of fillings, glazes, and sauces for bakery applications while driving innovation and creating new products across diverse categories to meet customer expectations.
• Prepare technical documentation, including product specification, process flow, formulation sheets, costing, SOPs, Halal submission, trial results and any related document as per requested by customers.
• Develop testing parameter and conduct sensory evaluations to ensure product meets customer expectations.
• Communicate with customers on product development, technical support and product improvement.
• Coordinate with internal Operation teams to ensure the end product meet the requirement.
• Maintain a clean, organized and efficient work environment following food safety requirement.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative Product Development Executive with expertise in the retort process. This role will focus on developing and improving retort-cooked products while also contributing to overall R&D activities, managing projects, and handling customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of retort processes, basic cooking skills and the ability to collaborate with customers to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and optimization of retort-cooked products while driving innovation and creating new products across diverse categories to meet customer expectations and market demands.
• Prepare technical documentation, including product specification, process flow, formulation sheets, costing, SOPs, Halal submission, trial results and any related document as per requested by customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Baking, Culinary Arts, Food Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D or a related role, with a strong foundation in pastry production.
• Basic cooking skills and understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Experience in managing key accounts in the FMCG Industry environment is an added advantage
• Creativity and problem-solving skills to innovate across multiple product categories.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Organized, detail-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
