We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to drive innovation and growth in the pet food market. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of our product portfolio by combining market insights, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Product Strategy & Development:
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the pet food market.
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with market trends and business goals.
- Lead the product development process by translating market insights into actionable product requirements in collaboration with R&D and marketing teams.
- Develop product packaging concepts and oversee branding efforts to resonate with target audiences in partnership with graphics and marketing teams.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to create go-to-market strategies for successful product launches and campaigns.
- Monitor product launch performance and implement improvements based on customer and sales feedback.
- Analyze product performance data to identify opportunities for improvements in formulations, packaging, or pricing.
- Implement enhancements to existing products based on customer feedback and evolving market demands.
- Plan and manage product development and launch timelines, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, resolve bottlenecks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in the pet food or FMCG industry.
- Strong skills in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning.
- Experience collaborating with R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of pet nutrition or prior experience in the pet or food industry.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies.
- Expertise in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, including surveys, focus groups, and customer interviews.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior
- Experience translating research insights into actionable recommendations for product innovation and optimization.
- Experience working with third-party market research firms or conducting in-house research.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
- Highly organized, with excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects effectively
- Results-oriented mindset and dedication with a focus on delivering value to customers and achieving business objectives.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to integrate market research findings into the product roadmap.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to share research insights with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in packaging design and branding.
