Product Specialist / Consultant (Photography)

About The Role

We are seeking a talented Product Specialist / Consultant (Photography) to join our dynamic team at Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. This full-time role is based in Selangor and will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise to support our photography product range.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing knowledgeable and friendly assistance to customers, helping them select the right Canon photography equipment and accessories to meet their needs.
• Demonstrating and showcasing the features and capabilities of our photography products to customers in-store and at events.
• Staying up to date with the latest photography equipment, technologies and industry trends to provide expert advice.
• Liaising with the sales and marketing teams to support campaign activities and new product launches.
• Organizing and facilitating photography workshops and training sessions for customers.
• Maintaining an organised, well-stocked and visually appealing photography product display.
• Providing excellent customer service and handling customer queries and complaints effectively.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for photography and a strong technical understanding of photography equipment and accessories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with and educate customers of all levels.
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to provide tailored product recommendations.
• Experience in a similar customer-facing role, preferably within the photography or consumer electronics industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to juggle various responsibilities.
• A friendly, enthusiastic and approachable personality.
