Production Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report to Production Manager, to lead a group of production operators.
• Manage production output, quality, efficiency, daily production activities and related issues.
• Continuously looking into ways to enhance the productivity by utilizing machine capacity and manpower in an optimum way.
• Record and monitor Production efficiency and downtime.
• Actively involved in any root cause findings on operational, mechanical and electrical downtime.
• Ensure products are strictly manufactured according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor the hourly efficiency and output and ensure compliance to standard output.
• Ensure all workers wear uniform and suitable PPE while in production floor.
• Minimize all wastage and upkeep building, facilities, machinery and equipment, repair minor machinery breakdown during the absence of Maintenance personnel.
• Ensure non-conforming products are properly identified and segregated.
• Arrange and provide on-the-job training for subordinates and new workers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate or diploma with minimum 2 years related working experience in supervisory level.
• Good leadership, good interpersonal skill, people management skill and a team player.
• Able to work in shift and extended working hour.
• Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
