PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (FINAL ASSEMBLY)

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Controls production output and quality on daily basis.
2. Decides corrective and preventive action on production failures.
3. Controls and carries out Management by Objective (MBO) activities.
4. Controls manpower plan and attendance based online station required.
5. Participates and is involved in the new model scheduling, problem solving and decision making.
6. Ensures daily target and production efficiency and quality are met.
7. Take line balance to ensure each operator meet pith time.
8. Ensures subordinates carry out jobs according to job instructions, work instructions, specification, quality system (ISO 9001:2015) and environment system (ISO 14001:2015).
9. Do the first article for every model running.
10. Ensures lot closing time.
11. Performs daily production reports.
12. To implement small group activities for improvement.
13. Ensures 5S activities are being carried out daily in line.
14. Transmit down company direction and growth to the floor.
15. Ensures the subordinates follow the company rules and regulations.
16. To perform additional responsibilities as and when instructed by superiors.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidate must possess a Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 2 years of Production supervisor experience.
2. Working experience in electronic or manufacturing sector will be prioritized.
3. Will oversee Production & Quality Section under Final Assembly Department.
4. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
5. Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.
6. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
7. Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 will be an added advantage.
8. Applicants must be Malaysian citizen and willing to work in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
