Job Description:
As a Junior Odoo Implementation Support Specialist, you’ll be part of our implementation team, assisting in setting up and configuring Odoo ERP systems for our clients. Your role will focus on documentation, data import, training preparation, COA setup, and testing, with an emphasis on accounting and finance modules. This role provides practical experience in ERP software while building essential skills in project support and accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Documentation Preparation: Assist in creating and organizing project documentation, including process flows, user guides, and system configuration notes, particularly for accounting functions.
• Chart of Accounts (COA) Setup: Support in setting up and configuring the Chart of Accounts in Odoo according to client requirements, ensuring alignment with accounting standards.
• Master Data Import: Assist with the import of master data, including customer, vendor, and product details, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
• Data Migration and Import: Aid in migrating and importing financial data into Odoo, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper alignment with the COA.
• Training Support: Prepare training materials and resources focused on accounting modules and assist clients with financial processes in Odoo.
• Testing: Conduct functional testing, especially for accounting modules, to confirm they meet client requirements and perform as expected.
• General Project Support: Assist with additional project tasks as needed to support the implementation team and clients.
Requirements:
• Recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of ERP systems; familiarity with Odoo is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with COA structures.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy in documentation and data handling.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and training support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace for documentation and data management.
• Eagerness to learn ERP implementation with an accounting focus.
