Project Engineer

The role exist to assist the Project Development team to during the construction management stages, including scheduling , planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.

Job Responsibilities

To assist the Project Manager in matters pertaining to project management and the construction process, such as:

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned projects.
• Monitoring compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Interacting daily with the Planning & Strategy Department to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the projects.
• Performing overall quality control of the work and reporting regularly on project status.
• Cooperating and communicating effectively with the Project Manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Reviewing engineering deliverables and initiating appropriate corrective actions if necessary.
• Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects.

Job Requirements

• A Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Post Graduate Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering, Project Management, or related fields.
• At least 3-4 years of working experience in property development or construction, experience in consultancy and registered with BEM are an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable in construction management.
• Strong skills in planning and supervision.
• Decision-making ability and leadership skills.
• Understanding of detailed drawings, standards, work programs, and the processes of inspection and requirements.

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD & Microsoft.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
