Project Manager Project Management

Plan, organize, lead and control the project at Backend Development to successfully achieve all project targets in terms of timeliness, quality and cost.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Plan, organize and control the project/ sub-projects with minor complexity (up to project classification class D), risk, impact and reach.
• Fully responsible for all project operational decisions and for achieving all project targets (time, quality, cost and budget).
• Be the key communication interface (for project-related matters), representing Back End to other Infineon Divisions (e.g. Business lines, Central Functions e.g. Finance, PTI, FE Fabs, etc).
• Form and lead the project team and assigns responsibilities within the project to Project Managers of sub-projects and Project Members
• Use Infineon project management tools to structure projects, control progress and for reporting and documentation
• Drive problem-solving activities within the project using standard Ifx troubleshooting methodologies, eg 8D, 5 Whys, etc
• Continuously focus on project quality, assess progress and ensure that goals are met despite challenges.
• Identify and manage changes and adapt project approach if necessary.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, etc).
• Project Management Professional Certification, preferred.
• At least 6 years of relevant working experience. Thereof 2 years of leading projects.
• Solid project management knowledge in terms of project initiation, planning and closing including reporting and documentation
• Good knowledge in semiconductor engineering and operation.
• Good communication skills.
• Good aptitude for collaboration, people management, negotiation and solution finding.
• Capability to lead the team to solve the standard problem (using 8D, Is-Is Not, FMEA, etc)
