Job Responsibility
- Source new suppliers and evaluate quotations based on price, quality, and delivery time.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain good relationships with existing vendors.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of purchase records.
- Coordinate with internal departments (supplier/production, warehouse) for stock and order requirements.
- Track and manage inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
- Assist in cost-saving initiatives and continuous sourcing improvements.
- Candidate possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- At least 1â2 years of relevant working experience in purchasing or sourcing.
- Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
- Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision, pleasant personality, independently as well as a team.
