Key Responsibilities:
  • Source for new suppliers considering prices, lead times, and quality.
  • Ensure that the spares trading needs are met.
  • Participate in meetings with suppliers.
  • Support direct reports as needed.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible service offerings to lead time vs. price and quality.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises.
  • Build a preferred supplier listing with primary, secondary, and tertiary options.
  • Proactively propose new purchasing channels, concepts, and methods.
  • Follow all relevant procedures and policies.
  • Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.
  • Perform all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards set by the company.
  • Handle and ensure deliveries of parts to Skyways Technics are on time.

Skills & Added Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in related fields.
  • Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Effective communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, who inspires and leads naturally.
  • Self-motivated and performance-driven.
  • Multi-tasker, Hands-on and Team Player.
  • An existing network of suppliers in the commercial aviation aftermarket sector.
  • Knowledge of Airbus, Boeing, or Embraer aircraft is a plus.
