Key Responsibilities:
Skills & Added Qualifications:
- Source for new suppliers considering prices, lead times, and quality.
- Ensure that the spares trading needs are met.
- Participate in meetings with suppliers.
- Support direct reports as needed.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible service offerings to lead time vs. price and quality.
- Conduct benchmarking exercises.
- Build a preferred supplier listing with primary, secondary, and tertiary options.
- Proactively propose new purchasing channels, concepts, and methods.
- Follow all relevant procedures and policies.
- Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.
- Perform all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards set by the company.
- Handle and ensure deliveries of parts to Skyways Technics are on time.
Skills & Added Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in related fields.
- Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing.
- Effective communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills, who inspires and leads naturally.
- Self-motivated and performance-driven.
- Multi-tasker, Hands-on and Team Player.
- An existing network of suppliers in the commercial aviation aftermarket sector.
- Knowledge of Airbus, Boeing, or Embraer aircraft is a plus.
