About the role
This is a full-time opportunity for a QA Assistant Manager to join YAMAGUCHI MFG MALAYSIA SDN BHD in their Shah Alam, Selangor location. As the QA Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the Manufacturing industry, overseeing quality assurance and control processes to ensure the company's products meet the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and improve quality assurance processes in manufacturing
- Conduct quality inspections and tests based on product quality standards
- Analyze quality issues in the production process and propose improvement measures
- Handle internal and external audits, including preparing detailed reports
- Coordinate quality-related communication with customers and suppliers
- Providing training and guidance to quality assurance personnel
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Undergo training on QA in overseas
What we're looking for
- 3-5 years of quality assurance experience in the manufacturing industry
- At least a year of managerial experience
- Understanding of drawings and experience in handling measuring equipment in manufacturing components
- Fluent proficiency in English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with stakeholders from Mainland China.
- Willing to travel overseas.
