Position 1 - QA Engineer (NPI)

NPI Quality Engineer supports the NPI product manufacturing to ensure all quality issues are resolved and proactively work towards improving product quality.

Responsibilities

1. Work with stakeholders to ensure the QMS is accurate and adhere to in relation to New Products and Prototype.
2. Works with production and engineering to develop an effective measurement metrology (MSOP), improve in-process inspection and measurement.
3. Assure acceptance and methodologies are fully documented and appropriate such that product inspection / validation / testing is properly performed, including develop, maintain and revise validation / test requirements.
4. Actively participating in design reviews activities and provide input for new product development.
5. Work with team to provide PPAP, incoming control plan for critical purchasing parts that are “Critical to Quality CTQ” and “Critical to Function CTF”, by ensuring form, fit, function and cosmetic requirement in part, module, and machine level.
6. Actively use 3P principles (Protect, Prevent, Predict) to drive for root cause analysis and CAPA using tools such as 8D principles and 5Why. Prepare lesson learnt to cascade to other relevant products.
7. Work closely with internal customers to ensure production reject DPPM and cycle time is at satisfactory level.
8. Apply statistical method for data analysis.
9. Responsible to ensure zero customer complaint from NPI and be the focal person in driving problem solving.
10. Upkeep quality KPI such as total customer detractor rate, opportunity cost, scrap cost etc in accordance to organization metric.

7. Experienced in the application of quality tools essential to NPI – DFMEA, PFMEA and control plans.

Education & Experience

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience with direct involvement in manufacturing and product development setting in the semiconductor equipment industry

Position 2 - Senior Quality System Engineer

Responsible in development, implement and maintain the company’s Quality Management System to ensure it is in compliance with relevant statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in Implementing, reviewing and maintaining the Company’s Quality Management System ensuring effective implementation of the QMS, maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional departments and other ASMPT sites to establish and review quality systems procedure and prepare for Internal/ External audits.
3. Manage and conduct internal audit as trigger from Corporate QMS and monitor objectives related to QMS audit. Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of QMS.
4. Support Corporate document control center, coordinate and review of quality documentation.
5. Support in preparation of management review meeting presentation including performance of the QMS.
6. Issue and follow up the Corrective Action/ Prevention Action (CAPA) and ensure timely closure.
7. Maintain and update quality-related documents, records, and procedures, Ensure the accessibility and accuracy of documentation.
8. Managing the in-house calibration activity ensure timely calibration of measuring equipment for both in house and external calibration.
9. Driving calibration activities toward documentation readiness and audit readiness.

Education & Experience

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years working experience in Quality Management System, hand on experience in ISO9001 standard. Experience in IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 would be added advantage.
3. Verbal and written communication and personal interface skills required.
4. Effectively bilingual.
