Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance activities of raw materials, in process and finished product.
• Responsible to ensure effective implementation of HACCP, pre-requisite program and quality system.
• To support line troubleshooting and provide feedback to manufacturing department on all quality aspects.
• Conducting internal audit and plant review to ensure effective GMP in place.
• Responsible for product quality sensory evaluation to meet customer expectations.
• Responsible for the overall quality centre operations.
• Perform data analysis for product performance.
• Understand and manage the product specifications as appropriately.
• Manage the quality centre programs and ensure in compliance with relevant SOP in line with food safety standards and customers’ requirements.
• Direct, control and motivate team members in all aspects affecting their work performance.
• Direct the investigation of customers’ complaints on products and ensure proper measures are taken where necessary.
  
  

Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent.
• Preferably with minimum 1 year working experience in Food Industry.
• Knowledgeable in GMP & HACCP. Experience in GFSI food safety standard e.g. BRC will be an added advantage.
• Experience in conducting internal audits.
• Good communication and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office applications.
