QC Technician

Responsible in determining the quality of every production batches manufactured in the plant. The role requires discipline in maintaining the outmost integrity in evaluating the result of the production batches objectively through the standard test as required in the product. EHS and 5S is critical to ensure the safety of all personnel and maintain the standards in the plant and it must be complied by the incumbent. The incumbent should possess some knowledge or skill in paint making, paint technology or chemical and have previously worked in a manufacturing plant in production or quality control.

Main Task And Accountabilities

• Conduct routine QC tests on incoming raw materials, in-process batches, and finished PPG coating products.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to verify coating properties such as viscosity, adhesion, curing, appearance and others
• Follow established SOPs and safety guidelines to carry out laboratory procedures.
• Prepare chemical solutions and set up equipment for testing.
• Record test results accurately and perform necessary calculations.

• To ensure productivity more than 95%
• Maintaining 5S score more than 90%
• Meeting EHS LCR and PPE adherence
• Releasing the good product quality at nominal range of test results

• Knowledge in paint or chemicals.
• Manual spray painting skill is an added advantage.
• Preventive maintenance monitoring and finished goods product foot print implementation.
• Demonstrated multi-tasking skills and make decision on solving non-conformance products.
