Siacon Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Johor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry, responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects. What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure that they remain within budget
- Preparing payment certificates and processing invoices
- Providing advice and support to project managers and other stakeholders on financial matters
- Identifying and managing risks associated with construction projects
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using construction-related software and tools
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and industry standards
