Quantity Surveyor Executive (QS)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Quantity Surveyor Executive (QS) / Contract Executive to join our dynamic team at Alam Kotamas Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality quantity surveying services to support our construction projects in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, including variations and claims
• Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
• Providing financial and commercial advice to project teams
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful construction projects

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• At least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes, cost management, and contract administration
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
