Quantity Surveyor (QS) cum Site Supervisor

Job Description

1. Quantity Surveying (QS) Responsibilities

• Take-off quantities and prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ).
• Source, negotiate and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare progress claims, VO (Variation Orders), final accounts, and payment certificates.
• Monitor project expenditure to ensure it stays within budget.
• Maintain proper documentation of contracts, quotations, and project records.

2. Site Supervision Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations to ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure workmanship meets quality standards.
• Ensure site safety compliance and enforce safety procedures.
• Monitor material usage, deliveries, and site inventory.
• Resolve site issues promptly and report progress to management.

3. General Requirements

• Able to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Willing to work at project sites.
