Quarry Supervisor

(I) Operation Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the quarry, including smooth running of the quarry plant, blasting and haulage of rocks.
• Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
• Implement and monitor operational procedures to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers and regulatory bodies
• Address any customer complaints or issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Assist to prepare and present reports on quarry performance and operations to the management

(II) Maintenance and Equipment Management

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of quarry equipment and machinery
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning and serviced properly
• Plan and coordinate any necessary upgrades or replacements

(III) Safety, Health and Environmental Management

• Enforce safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
• Conduct regular safety inspection and audit to identify potential hazards and address them promptly
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and manage waste disposal and reclamation activities
• Implement and monitor environmental management practices to minimize the quarry’s impact on the surrounding environment

(IV) Manpower Management

• Assist in managing and supervising quarry staff, including hiring, training and performance evaluation
• Assist in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Assist to address any personnel issues and resolve conflicts effectively and immediately
• The duties and responsibilities of Quarry Supervisor shall not be limited to the above mentioned and shall be subjected to additional task as assigned / delegated by the Management / Immediate Superior from time to time
