R&D Electronic Hardware Engineer - Costing at ⁠Embedded Product Solution

Our client “⁠Embedded Product Solution” is seeking a R&D Electronic Hardware Engineer - Costing to join their company!

What you’ll be doing?

• Understanding of design specifications provided by customers.
• Determination of electronics components used for hardware.
• Engage with suppliers for custom made components to meet customers’ requirement.
• Creation of BOM (Bill of Material).
• Preparation of cost structure for project accordance to specifications.
• Generate quotation to customers within short lead time.
• Work closely with design engineer and purchaser to kick-off project.
• Any other ad-hoc assignments within the scope. Education & Experience

Who are they looking for?

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in electronics circuitry and components functionality.
• Possess sufficient knowledge of reading schematics and components' datasheets.
• Candidates must be able to read and speak Mandarin as he/ she needs to communicate well with China customers and vendors.
• Able to work independently and have good problem solving, decision making and analytical skills.
• Candidates must be willing to work in Perai, Penang
