Setter (Stamping)

Your Job

• Perform and support all day-to-day operational activities of stamping tool room (die setup, die PM, die readiness), ensures that all task meets objectives, specifications and standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on dies and stamping presses to prevent breakdowns
  and extend the lifespan of the equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues with dies, presses, or the stamping process, including adjusting
  for wear and tear or defects.
• Maintain records of die setups, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during production.

Our Team

• Work closely with engineers, toolmakers and other production staff to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot any issues.

What You Will Do

• Operates standard and specialized equipment, i.e. lathe, horizontal or vertical milling machines, surface grinder, band saw, drill press, and measuring tools to produce workpiece.
• Comply and ensure that all applicable operating policies and safety procedures are adhered to
• Ensure the fabricated parts meet the required quality and standards before hand-over to production.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• SKM, Diploma or Equivalent
• Specialized training in die setting, machine operation, or related fields can be beneficial.
• Previous experience in a similar role or in a manufacturing environment is often preferred.
