The primary responsibility of this candidate is to manage and coordinate Regional Retail work activities (business, operations, product) and provide tactical direction in strategy execution, stakeholder management, project designing, planning and management with local teams, and / or business functions

Responsibilities

  • Work with local teams to coordinate and manage gathering of information and market insights, as well as working with the Retail volume & revenue growth, Business Intelligence team to structure and extract operational and sales data required for business analysis. These are necessary groundwork for preparation of business initiative solutioning.
  • With understanding of business challenges and direction, develop structured and data-driven insights and recommendations for ongoing and / or proposals for new initiatives based on information gathered and analysed.
  • Work with manager to co-develop business initiatives and improvement projects - guided by business insights and strategic direction - across areas of pricing & commercial model, partner acquisition strategy, partner engagement model, campaign & promotional strategy, network strategy & design and tech & product ideation & improvements, in collaboration with the Regional Retail team and Local Retail teams and the broader NV group.
  • Plan and manage execution and implementation of new business or commercial initiatives by the respective local heads. Structure and design reporting requirements for local teams to report impact to business performance post implementation Identify and coach local teams on learning and improvement opportunities translating into future actionable and iterations of work deliverables.
  • With understanding of key business metrics and commercial model structure, identify, design and develop relevant dashboards required to track and monitor business performance across various business components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Min. 3 years in business and operations strategy
  • Previous experience in logistics or e-commerce industry is highly advantageous, though not necessary
  • Experience in management consulting is a plus
  • Skilled in business framework development, and bringing business concepts from ideation to workplan development and execution
  • Highly adaptable, self driven and motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong skills in GSuite and / or Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, delivering concepts and ideas with PowerPoint presentations
  • Drawing insights and actionables from business / operational data
