Restaurant General Manager / Assistant GM
SHAKE SHACK MALAYSIA SDN. BHD.
General Manager/ AGM is responsible for leading the day-to-day operational and financial excellence of the Shack by exercising great leadership and decision-making that supports operational standards and the culture of Enlightened Hospitality. In addition, (s)he sets the vision for the Shack and executing the vision through managers and team members alike.
- Manages the flow of service to ensure the highest levels of Safety, Cleanliness, Quality, and Speed, while simultaneously upholding Shack standards of Hospitality in all interactions
- Manages management life cycle through training, development and growth plans, and progressive discipline when appropriate
- Manages hourly Team Member employee life cycle – recruiting, selection, hiring and performance through training, development and growth plans, and progressive discipline when appropriate
- Manages all support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, Scheduling, Payroll, P&L Analysis, etc.) at the Shack to ensure operational excellence and financial health of the business
- Leads and works to maintain the facility and all equipment to the highest standards – ensuring Safety and Cleanliness
- Ensures compliance with wage and hour, Department of Health, etc. as well as compliance with all Loss Prevention and Audit compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2-5 years of senior restaurant management experience
• Understanding Food Safety certified according to local jurisdiction
• Must successfully pass a mandatory background check
• Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication
• Able to effectively problem solve
• Able to manage peers
