RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for kitchen and electrical appliances, excellent communication skills, and a strong sales acumen. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalized assistance to customers, demonstrating product features, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Assist customers in selecting kitchen and electrical appliances based on their needs and preferences.
3. Provide product demonstrations to showcase features and functionalities.
4. Offer expert advice and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
5. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a prompt and courteous manner.
7. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including product displays and shelves.
8. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and goals.
9. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive offerings.

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the kitchen and electrical appliances sector.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Knowledge of kitchen and electrical appliances and their features.
• Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Fluent in language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
