You’ll make an impact by

• Your task as risk officer is to control company-wide risk management
• Managing the company's ERM programs to identify, measure, assess and minimize risks
• Managing and monitoring regulatory risks or technological risks, including the risks of legal requirements, software applications and business intelligence tools
• Defining appropriate controls to minimize the risks and monitoring and testing the controls to ensure they are effective
• Reporting on risks, controls and compliance to the company's management and stakeholders, including the preparation of risk assessment reports and analyses
• Organizing and conducting training and raising employee awareness of the importance of risk management, control management and compliance
• Continuous improvement and recommendations on risk management, control management and compliance management to increase effectiveness
• Working closely with other departments and functions within the company to ensure that risks and controls are appropriately identified and managed
  
  

You’d describe yourself as

• Successfully completed university degree in business administration / economics / law or comparable qualification
• Several years (at least 10 years) of business experience, with relevant experience in several of the following areas: Legal, Sales, Service, Finance, Project Management preferably experience as a Risk Officer
• Risk management methodology
• Knowledge of the company's entire value chain
• Strategic thinking and approach, methodical work, assertiveness, persuasiveness, leadership, communication and presentation skills Results orientation, initiative, analytical and decision-making skills
• Experience in an international environment, experience of working abroad would be desirable
• Experience in managing employees, also internationally and remotely
• Business fluent in German and English
• Working location in Malaysia
