Opportunity to join as a R&M TA MM Schedule Engineer for the first Deepwater Sour Gas development in Sarawak, the Rosmari and Marjoram fields to deliver Turnaround and Major Maintenance integrated scheduling/resources planning related tasks to ensure safe production of hydrocarbon within operating envelope, business targets and regulatory compliances.
What’s the role?
- Executes accountabilities, but not limited to below, which may be included as and when required to ensure successful ORA processes and OPERATE phase of R&M OGP:-
- Relentless pursuit of Goal zero target with no harm to people (Personal Safety) and no Leak (Process Safety).
- During project phase, in their new respective role, initial focus phase will be to ensure asset readiness and to lead the integrated project and asset team to start up Offshore facilities and OGP safely and meeting SURU Target.
- Deputises R&M TA MM Planner roles and responsibilities, as and when necessary.
- Drive the efficiency/optimization of scheduling and resource planning for Turnaround (TA) and Major Maintenance (MM) activities. This involves meticulous planning, resource allocation, and coordination to achieve cost-effective and timely execution.
- Set up future TA and MM activities for success by implementing best practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement strategies. This includes thorough planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement to ensure that future projects are well-prepared, efficient, and aligned with long-term business goals.
- Collaboratively influence stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure successful scheduling and resource planning for Turnaround (TA) and Major Maintenance (MM) activities. This involves fostering strong relationships, facilitating effective communication, and aligning the interests of various parties to achieve common goals. Your role is crucial in coordinating efforts, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that all stakeholders are committed to the success of TA and MM projects.
- Key supporting person for measurement, monitoring and reporting of preparation/execution/after action review in compliance to SEAM standard and competitive against benchmark Top Quartile.
- Drive improvement processes and manage the impact of turnarounds and major maintenance on long-term business planning.
- Delivers effective schedule operations against OPEX targets while continuously drives lean improvement initiatives on technical aspects.
- Develop and execute a schedule plan for the R&M OGP and strive towards meeting schedule targets and bottom-line unit operating costs.
- Work with planners (Functional/IAPS) and perform gatekeeping to ensure that the demand plan is delivered on time with required granularity/quality as per agreed demand planning process.
- Collect Supply Chain demand requirements as per agreed process to provide materials & services, logistics (move people/materiel/waste etc.) from appropriate repositories (including all functional demand from operations, maintenance, turnarounds and campaigns).
- >7 years or more working experience in Planning/Scheduling maintenance campaign and turnaround OR relevant.
- Experiences in managing flawless turnaround and major maintenance.
- Degree in any engineering degree or Diploma with significant relevant experiences
- Demonstrates ability for manage complex and wide stakeholders/resources scheduling planning .
- The incumbent will be based in the current working/base location at the early stage of the project and will progressively be relocated to Bintulu R&M OGP Office to support the Commissioning, Start Up, Operation and Maintenance of OGP. Reports to R&M OGP Technology & Engineering Manager, under R&M Production Manager.
