About The Role

Provide accounting and financial advisory support. The role includes performing period close activities on a timely and independent way, processing payroll, performing stock controls and processing of commission.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform period end activities such as booking of manual journal entries, processing of payroll, stock controls, billing due, etc.
• Respond to questions from entities and other SSC departments regarding finance general accounting matters and provide support
• Identify and calculate provisions and exceptions to standard bookings.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovative solutions and communicate them to the GL Supervisor.
• Perform accounting activities related to Sundry Sales invoicing
• Perform intercompany reconciliations for accounts payable and accounts receivables
  
  

About You

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or similar field
• English and another European language (Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish or German preferred)
• At least 4 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Experience in F&A (finance and accounting) shared services centre environments preferred
• Knowledge or specific business understanding
• Technical accounting and analytical skills
• Technology skills, including SAP, Microsoft Office and web-based applications
• Strong team player, highly motivated and eager to learn
