We are looking for a qualified Sales Assistant to join our team. You will provide support to sales representatives and respond to customer and prospect inquiries. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of sales and customer service best practices. You should also be able to interpret sales metrics and be goal-oriented.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information
- Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional events
- Communicate effectively with clients and maintain strong relationships
- Process orders and ensure timely delivery
- Track sales data and generate reports
- Help the sales team meet sales targets and objectives
- Handle complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Perform market research and identify new opportunities
- Monitor competition and provide feedback to the sales team
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Assistant or relevant role
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Customer service-oriented attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
