We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our entity. At Endress+Hauser, Sales Engineers play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, expanding market presence, and contributing to the company’s mission of sustainable growth through smart instrumentation and automation.

What is the role about?

To promote and sell products, solutions and services to customers for assigned Data Centre and Semiconductor industries/customers. Meet the yearly sales target and objectives. To grow and develop businesses in the Data Centre and Semiconductor industries. Maintain existing customer within the Data Centre and Semiconductor industries and explore new customers and opportunities.

Which tasks will you perform?

You Will

  • Proactively sell and promote products and solutions to existing and new customers.
  • Generate leads, conduct sales calls, arrange meetings, and follow up on enquiries and quotations.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive long‑term business growth.
  • Deliver technical presentations and provide solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Handle technical and commercial discussions, negotiations, and close sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, pricing, proposal, and project) to support sales activities.
  • Support tender preparation, submission, and technical clarification when required.
  • Gather and analyze market and competitor intelligence.
  • Track sales activities, prepare forecasts, budgets, and reports, and ensure timely customer payment follow‑ups.
  • Support project execution by resolving customer or sales‑related issues.

What do we expect from you?

You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in automation and instrumentation or technical/industrial sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge in instrumentation, products, applications, and related industries.
  • Solid understanding of market development, customer needs, and sales processes.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, including presentations, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa (spoken and written).
  • Strong time management, people management, and organizational skills.
  • Willing to travel.
