You support our team as

Sales Manager Civil Engineering in Malaysia & Indonesia

Responsibilities

  • Formulating and safeguarding sales objectives and plans followed by timely progress reports.
  • Responsible for sales management, such as order acquisition, dispatch, reporting management, in order to achieve customer satisfaction, both internally and externally.
  • Develop customer pipeline to support sales growth. Maintain all existing customers, develop initial relationships and qualify key market players to develop new business & increase market share, work with key influencers such as design institutes, construction companies, dealers etc. to understand and develop the right sales channels and network;
  • Monitoring and advising (potential) customers in existing and new market segments on the purchase of products and applications, taking into account the technical aspects of the products, in order to increase the number of prospects, the value of sales and the scope of offers issued.
  • Based on the business strategy of the company and the VP Product, understand/develop the product portfolio, selling points to develop a sales strategy/market sales plan.
  • To study and analyze the market on the basis of (historical) sales data, analyses of competition and market demand, and marketing developments, in order to ensure the accuracy of analyses and the usability of market information.
  • Participate, in collaboration with the marketing department, in activities such as exhibitions, live meetings, customer events, etc.
  • Report on the progress of interim activities, including monthly visits and reports.
  • Gather market information in a timely manner for further analysis and development of market strategy, continuously acquire new relevant knowledge and skills to improve work efficiency and meet changing market requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, specializing in civil engineering.
  • 4 years' proven professional experience in sales or similar fields; knowledge of upstream and downstream markets for the application of civil geosynthetic materials and of sales and distribution channels for major infrastructure projects.
  • Regional travel Malaysia /Indonesia
  • Existing contacts in the Civil Engineering sector
  • Good presentation skills
  • Matured skills in new customers and new application development
  • Good knowledge of English, professional level
  • Malaysian/Indonesian first language
  • Preferred Location: Malaysia/Indonesia, Head Office in China
