- Plans in close cooperation with the Sales Leader an aggressive sales plan to ensure sales, profits and growth budgets are met, and then implements it.
- Carries out sales visits to customers in accordance with the sales plan and provides advice/support to customers on a range of Xylem’s products, attempting to match customer needs with engineered solutions.
- Gain access to market intelligence about competitor’s products and services and market trends; providing competitive product, commercial, and market feedback to the Company.
- Analyses sources of tender information and future construction projects and follows up on leads. Influence key decision makers and influence specifications.
- Prepares quotations and engages in negotiations with customers to close deals, discussing pricing, terms, and other relevant aspects.
- Submit accurate weekly, monthly report, sales forecast, and project follow-up list.
- Provides inputs to the Sales Leader and attends sales meetings as required and completes written and verbal reports as required by the Sales Leader.
- Achieve target sales orders, revenues, profit margins and/or expense objectives in overall area.
- Works collaboratively with the team members to achieve team objectives.
- Comply to Xylem code of conduct, delegation of authority, company’s policies and procedure and local laws.
- Travel within the country and to factories overseas is required.
