Our client, a fast-growing Malaysian start-up, is looking for a passionate professional to build brand awareness in the orthopaedic trauma implant market.

The Role:

You will be working closely with orthopaedic surgeons, doctors, and healthcare professionals, responsible for exceeding sales targets in your territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with clinicians, surgeons, and hospital staff.
  • Expand business prospects in private and government hospitals.
  • Provide expert technical support during surgeries for trauma implants.
  • Cross-sell additional products and introduce new items to the market.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments within the credit period.
  • Stay updated on sales techniques and product features.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development.
  • Complete training on orthopaedic trauma products and maintain product expertise.


What Youll Need:

  • Knowledge of orthopaedic procedures and operating theatre protocols.
  • Experience with trauma orthopaedic implants.
  • Established network with surgeons in both private and government hospitals.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure, surgical environments.
  • A background as a product specialist or in sales within the orthopaedic implant sector.
  • Willingness to travel and valid drivers license.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in trauma implants sales or as a product specialist.
  • Diploma (medical, nursing, or allied science preferred, but not required with relevant experience).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to travel.
  • Availability to work in a 24-hour on-call environment.
