All about the role:

EluxOne is the strategic ERP solution of the Electrolux Group, utilizing SAP and integrated applications such as ECC, EWM, BW, OTM, B2B, B2C, and C4C, which are currently deployed in Electrolux Business Units within the APMEA region.

What you’ll do:

• Join the SAP BI Service Delivery Team in KL, Malaysia
• The SAP BI Senior IT Lead / Manager will collaborate closely with APMEA business partners and be responsible for the design, deploy and maintain BI solutions for the APMEA region. Additionally, close collaboration will be required with IT SMEs, and Global Solution Architects.
• This is a critical role which requires hands-on skills in SAP BI, as well as good cross-functional knowledge in at least 2 of the core SAP ECC Functional areas such as SD, Logistics, Finance, Procurement etc. The position also demands excellent communication and business partnering skills to effectively engage with key business stakeholders.
• Additionally, the candidate would be preferred if s/he has a good understanding of the Consumer Appliances industry and its associated processes. The candidate must also possess excellent communication skills to be able to interact with counterparts within business as well as the IT Team.
• Analyze and evaluate existing reporting capabilities to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of SAP BI solutions for countries which are live on EluxOne solution across the APMEA regions, ensuring alignment with regional business requirements and global standards.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales & Distribution (SD), Warehouse Management (WM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Logistics, and others, to ensure seamless reporting capabilities.
• Oversee and coordinate vendor and external partner resources, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of solutions while maintaining adherence to project timelines, budgets, and performance expectations.
• Fluency in English is essential
  
  

Who You Are

This role requires an experienced, senior candidate who can partner effectively with all the business units, lead teams, drive results and make challenging decisions across complex environments.

• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
• At least 12-15 years' experience in SAP BW, BI, HANA, Business Objects, and Power BI (implementation/development experience is a must)
• Knowledge about the integration of Power BI, SAP Business Object tools with SAP NetWeaver BI/BW.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business Object version 4.0 or above including Flory versions.
• Good understanding of current SAP Business Intelligence solutions using BEX, Analysis for Office, Webi
• Good knowledge of MY SQL, ABAP, SQL Scripts & AMDP
• Good strong business process knowledge at least 2 core SAP ECC domains
• BI Integration with different tools like IBP, SAP ECC (RFC & ODP) Open Hubs, Power BI & etc.
• Strong experience with development in the following tools:
• SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence
• Analytics OLAP
• Power BI
  
  

Working experience in Power BI

• Data Modelling
• Data Visualization
• Development using DAX query language
• Integrations with SAP ecosystems
• Oversee all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring successful end-to-end delivery.
• Identify and actively influence effective change management, ability to highlight new ways of working effectively
• Manage workload and priorities to meet project objectives and produce quality project deliverables
• Structured, business focused with problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills both verbal and writing are important as the work requires integration with colleagues, users and business partner globally.
• Ability to work with global teams to develop robust interface designs which are scalable and highly reliable for complex enterprise system environments.
• Work closely with SAP functional workstream to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP reporting capabilities.
• Robust experience in service delivery to manage / work with team of vendors.
• Ability to coordinate with Global SMEs and ensure standards and guidelines are followed
• Drive the standardization across the APAC MEA in alignment with Group solutions directions.
• Basic knowledge on the Azure data lake and integration mechanism with SAP BW
• Forsee the future pain points and provide solutions that give real impact on operations and drive efficiency.
• Manage the functional documentation, review the solutioning, efforts and provide right guidelines.
• Setup and drive the BI access security mechanisms.

• At least 12-15 years of experience in SAP BI design & development based on best practices:
• BW Modelling
• Native Hana
• Mixed modelling scenarios
• BOBJ – AFO, Webi
• ABAP, AMDP’s, HANA Scripts
• Logistics, Finance, Sales, Procurement experience
• Power BI
• BW4HANA will be added advantage.
• Must have team management experience to handle 4 to 6 resources across multiple locations
• Experienced working in different delivery models i.e., onsite, offshore etc.
• Ability to provide accurate reporting on periodic basis to key stakeholders
• Ability & desire to take ownership of BI projects, lead design, build & support. Collaborate closely with Business FP&A team to ensure successful delivery
• Flexible & adaptable; able to work with tight deadlines
• Willing to take up new challenges/areas/modules & technological disruptions
