SAP COE Development Intern

PPG is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SAP Developer Intern to join our SAP Center of Excellence (COE) team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ABAP/BTP programming while working on complex global use cases. The intern will be exposed to the latest technologies and will play a key role in supporting our development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and apply best practices in ABAP/BTP programming to enhance existing applications and develop new functionalities.
• Focus on performance tuning and improving existing custom code.
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of code quality and performance.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to ABAP programs, BTP app and SAP modules.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Work on updating the SAP Guidelines and standards based on latest strategy and best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in SAP technologies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and languages; familiarity with ABAP is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Knowledge of SAP systems and business processes is an advantage.
