SAP COE FICO Consultant

You will lead FICO APAC localization activities within our S/4 implementation project Connect PPG. You will work as part of the Global SAP Centre of Excellence. Implement localization related to local tax and financial reporting requirements (e.g. Golden Tax) for countries in APAC (China, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia). Leading activities within FICO domain and across team members, including SI partner. We ask that you have in depth understanding of business processes related to S/4 Finance and Controlling, including integration with other modules (SD, MM, PP). You will need to have FIORI experience to support FIORI first/only strategy. Within SAP CoE Organization, you will report to Global SAP FICO Stream Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• You will implement business solutions-based Global Template and based on requirements analysis/design.
• You will propose, design or configure, document and test business solutions according to the functional and technical requirements following SAP standard and our foundational template as closely as possible.
• You will build excellent working relationships with both your IT colleagues and business stakeholders
• You will need to quickly develop good understanding of our SAP template (within 1 – 3 months)
• You will build knowledge of our SBU processes within a short timeframe (1 – 3 months) to facilitate rapid solutioning
• You will evaluate the x-stream impact of any solutions proposed and ensure that SAP standard/our foundational template is followed as closely as possible
• Assist the site achieve and maintain zero recordable injuries by ensuring you follow health and safety guidelines and participate in regular safety programs.
• Ensure adherence to EH&S policy and procedures and any other site-specific safety guidelines.
• Act in an environmentally responsible manner and follow site 5S safety standards.
  
  

Requirements

• Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including technical writing. Mandarin speaking would be an added advantage.
• 4-year degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other business-related field is required.
• Min 10 years’ experience with process knowledge of SAP Finance Accounting & Controlling, understanding of AA, AR, AP, GL, Credit Management, FSCM, Cash Management/Treasury, Reporting and CO processes (incl. CCA, PCA, Product Costing, COPA, Allocations), and general SAP S/4 knowledge.
• Experience as a Senior Consultant role in numerous SAP implementations in SAP FICO domain.
• Experience with S/4 FICO modules and the end-to-end business processes related to Financial domains (AR, AP, new GL, Asset Management, FSCM, Multibank Connectivity, Advanced Credit Management, Treasury incl. Bank interfacing and Cash application, Taxes, Allocations Intercompany Process Controlling CCA, PCA, PS, Product Costing, Budgeting, Settlements, COPA, Project Systems, Reporting, …).
• Knowledge of SD / MM process integration to SAP FICO processes.
• In-depth experience in the process and functional design, configuration and troubleshooting of SAP FICO modules with intra/cross company business flows part of a complex global supply chain distribution network.
• Implementation experience of localization related to local tax and financial reporting requirements (e.g. China Golden Tax).
• Knowledge of SAP Document & Reporting Compliance tool (eDocument, statutory reports)

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience using SAP Solution Manager toolset for managing changes, transports and incidents would be advantageous
• Experience integrating SAP with cFIN
