Position Summary
The Senior Executive – Sell-Out Analyst plays a critical role in driving business performance by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making. This position is responsible for monitoring product sell-out performance across various channels, evaluating the effectiveness of promotions, and supporting sales and marketing teams with data-driven recommendations.
The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of market dynamics to enhance sales strategies and achieve business objectives. - Analyze sell-out data to track product performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance and retailer performance.
- Conduct gap analysis to compare sell-out against targets and suggest improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for retail partners and products across regions.
- Track promotional campaign performance and assess return on investment (ROI).
- Identify underperforming areas and recommend strategic actions to improve sales.
- Assist in demand forecasting and planning based on historical sales data and market trends.
- Support sales and marketing teams with data-driven recommendations for future campaigns.
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to align strategies with sell-out performance.
- Liaise with retail partners to collect accurate sell-out data and ensure timely reporting.
- Analyze competitor performance and market dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insights into consumer behaviour and preferences based on sales data.
- Develop tools, dashboards, and processes to improve the efficiency of data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales analysis, retail analytics, or a similar role.
- Experience working with FMCG or consumer electronics industries is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with ERP or sales data systems is a plus.
- Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Understanding of market dynamics, retail operations, and sales strategies.
