We are a well-established company in the plantation and wood industry based in Sungai Petani, Kedah. We invite applicants for the following post:

Qualifications & experience

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Accounting/Finance or Professional Degree (ACCA/MIA/CPA)
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia (Proficiency in Mandarin is added advantage)
• Possess a positive attitude, self-motivated, team player, able to work independently, meticulous, and good communication and analytical skills.
• Be willing to travel to Sabah estate for meeting and support other operation in field and ad hoc initiative, as required.
• Familiar with Oil Palm Industry and Quarto Cloud System will be an added advantage.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Handling full set of account as well as all general accounting function in accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budget, forecast, cost analysis report, financial performance report, projection, and other accounting and financial-related working papers for Group and Company level.
• To ensure compliance with the latest accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Perform stock count and prepare stock balance report monthly.
• Liaising with external parties such as company secretary, auditors, bankers, lawyers, tax authorities and government authorities on job related matters.
• Identify areas of improvements to the existing process flows for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Perform other ad hoc assignment as and when required.
