Agency Development - Assistant Manager/Manager

About the role

This exciting Agency Development - Assistant Manager/Manager role at Hong Leong Assurance Berhad offers you the opportunity to make a real impact in the Sales and New Business Development operations of the company. Based in Sungai Petani Kedah, this full-time position will see you working closely with the leadership team to drive business growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Recruitment & Development: Plan, recruit, train, and develop life division agencies to meet growth and production targets.
• Training Implementation: Design and execute various training programs, sales activities, and promotional initiatives to boost agency productivity
• Branch Growth: Drive branch growth through production management, recruitment, and manpower development, focusing on maintaining a strong active agent ratio.
• Branch Management: Assist in monitoring daily branch activities to ensure alignment with the company's budget and objectives.
• Leadership Collaboration: Identify and develop new business areas through, networking, roadshows, and promotional activities to attract and recruit potential agencies.
• Agency Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure agencies reach the targets.
• Operation Liaison: Coordinate with the Operations Department to manage and resolve life operations matters effectively.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Insurance Industry. Previous experience in life insurance is an advantage.
• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any field.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft knowledge (Words, Excel, Powerpoint), photoshop or any designing software & video production software is preferred.
• Experience in people management, training, and public speaking skills.

Other Requirements - Good to have:

• Understanding of life insurance policies, systems, and operations.
• Ability to manage and execute tasks independently while supporting overall team goals.
