Our client “HCK Capital Group” is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join their company!

About them

HCK Capital Group Bhd was originally listed on Bursa Malaysia on 21st August 2000. Its main businesses then were industrial engineering and trading of rubber related products. It subsequently diversified into property development after the entry of Tan Sri Clement Hii as the controlling shareholder.

HCK has built its reputation on its education city series which leverage on well-known education brands to increase the desirability of the developments. To drive its core business of property development, HCK Capital Group has now added a second fundamental element in the shape of a Platform division. It becomes the technology arm that underlines the Group’s system, processes and digitalization.

It’s a well-balanced response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) and Digital Era, allowing its property division to retain its competitive edge in Next Normal.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Handle full set of accounts and all financial reporting activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and yearly closing of accounts.
  • Prepare accounting and related reports including financial and management reports for upper management's review with fixed deadlines.
  • Prepare inter-company accounts reconciliations and other monthly schedule (eg: fixed assets listing, prepayment, accruals listing & etc.)
  • Liaise with bankers and assist in handling the payment of accounts.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management.

Who are they looking for?

  • At least a Diploma in Accountancy or LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience. Experience in property development industry is preferred.
  • Experience in regular book keeping and accounting knowledge required.
  • Hands on experience in handling taxation and statutory accounts & liaison with the external auditors, tax agent, government and other professional bodies.
  • Able to analyze, understand and interpret basic financial data.
  • Detail oriented and organized with high level of accuracy.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Hardworking, responsible, positive attitude and high level of commitment.
  • Good problem-solving skills, proactive and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge in MHW / UBS / SQL software will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel.
